The Spectrum team includes individuals with the EnCase® Certified Examiner (EnCE) and
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)®
certifications (J. Stott Matthews) and the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners®
Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) certification (Ian Bonner).
The EnCE certifies both public and private sector professionals in
the use of Guidance Software's EnCase® computer forensic software. EnCE
certification acknowledges that professionals have mastered computer investigation
methodology as well as the use of EnCase® during complex computer examinations.
Recognized by both the law enforcement and corporate communities as a symbol of
in-depth computer forensics knowledge, EnCE certification illustrates that an
investigator is a skilled computer examiner.
The CCE is an internationally recognized certification with over 700 certified individuals
worldwide. The certification is widely accepted as a prerequisite for computer-forensic
examiners and is recognized by industry professionals and academic institutions alike.
In order to achieve the CCE, an applicant must demonstrate an understanding of sound
evidence handling and forensic-examination procedures. Along with validation of
technical expertise, the CCE brings with it a strong, enforced code of ethics and
professional responsibility, requiring all certification holders to abide by high ethical
standards.
- Spectrum Computer Forensics has served as an expert witness at the State and
Federal Court levels and has been included in a Federal-level court opinion.
- Business and technology acumen that yields the best results for its clients
Experience, integrity, the latest tools, and continued training these are the critical elements that accompany the deliverables you receive with a Spectrum engagement.
